Samaaveshi Pathshaala is a registered nonprofit working on inclusive education in Karjat tribal block near Mumbai, founded in 2018 by two alumni (Nivedita & Ashok) of TISS, Mumbai.
This academic year 2025-26, we are working with a 'whole-system approach' to implement inclusive education at all 7 Anganwadis and five Zilla Parishad (ZP) primary schools situated under Kashele gram panchayat in Karjat block. Our modus operandi entails improving overall school/classroom infra (solar power, smart TV, furniture, grade-specific learning materials, mini-library, WASH facilities etc.), and placing a team of inclusive educators for classroom intervention and on-site support/teacher-training to practice quality inclusive-ed with all children with and without disabilities. Collectively, we're working with 350+ primary students and 150+ Anganwadi students, including 16 children with disabilities (CWDs).
Please support our mission to provide quality education to these rural children, a majority from low-income Katkari & Thakur (ST) communities.
Your contribution of Rs 6,000/- (Six thousand rupees) will cover the tuition fee, stationery for a child (+ therapy assistance for a child with disability), for ONE YEAR.
