Samaaveshi's new centre is called the 'Inclusive Learning & Disability Resource Centre (ILDRC)'. The ILDRC is a strategic project/facility of Samaaveshi aimed at long-term stability and expansion of its early disability intervention, teacher-training and inclusive education services across 200 villages of Karjat tribal block near Mumbai.
'GIFT A BRICK' is a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for our ILDRC construction project, to be built on a 16-guntha (17,000 sq ft) land in Kashele village (Karjat), acquired by Samaaveshi in 2024. The entire project has been divided into two construction phases:
Phase 1 (2025-26): Ground floor construction with a built-up area of 5,000 SQFT comprising 4 rooms (each 15x20 feet) + 2 halls (each of 20x25feet) + 6 lavatories. The construction cost of each 15x20 FT room is estimated at Rs 10,00,000/- (Ten lakh rupees only).
Phase 2 (2026-17): First floor with a built-up area of 5,000 SQFT (4 rooms + 2 halls + 6 lavatories).

Once completed, Samaaveshi will embark on a five-year plan (2026-30) to achieve its goal of providing early intervention services to 300+ children with disabilities; training 1000 teachers/community workers on early disability identification and inclusive-ed skills; and inclusive-ed support to 20,000+ students in Karjat.
