'Samaaveshi Pathshaala Foundation' is a registered nonprofit working on inclusive education in Karjat tribal block of Maharasthra, founded in 2018 by two graduates of TISS Mumbai. Starting with an inclusive kindergarten from a two-room rented space in Kashele village, we have gradually expanded our work following an integrated approach to include a community library/disability resource centre, and a inclusive teacher-training and transformation project with all 5 Zilla Parishad (ZP) primary schools and 7 Anganwadi centres, situated in five villages under Kashele gram panchayat in Karjat block.
Besides, since 2019, we're running an Anganwadi teacher-training programme on early disability idemtification and inclusive-ed skills with 100 Anganwadis - aimed at 'building an ecosystem of inclusive education in Karjat block'.
Please make a small contribution to our General Fund to help sustain our programmes, and support local tribal communities in times of crisis.
